Who we are

MyAIUsage (“we”, “us”) operates this website and service. Contact: contact@myaiusage.com.

What we collect

• Anonymous calculator inputs: the values you enter (e.g., number of prompts, % image prompts, chosen model) and the derived results. These are stored without your name or contact info and used for aggregate stats/analysis only.
• Contact form details: your name, email, subject, message. We also keep basic delivery logs (see Email logs).
• Technical/server logs: IP address, user-agent, timestamps and similar diagnostic data collected by our server and security tools.
• Cookies & tracking: analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (e.g., Google AdSense) if enabled; non-essential cookies only after consent where required.
• Anti-spam: Google reCAPTCHA runs on the contact form to prevent abuse.

Why we process data (lawful bases)

• Provide & improve the service (legitimate interests): operate the calculator, understand aggregate usage, maintain reliability.
• Communications (consent): respond to your enquiries; send updates only if you opt in.
• Security & fraud prevention (legitimate interests): protect the site and users, detect abuse/spam.
• Legal compliance: respond to lawful requests or obligations.

Email logs (contact form)

We send contact form messages using authenticated SMTP (Google Workspace) and generate a small server log entry per submission (date/time, name, email, subject, message length/preview, IP, user-agent, success flags). These logs help us confirm delivery and diagnose issues. We do not sell or share contact details for marketing without your consent.

Google reCAPTCHA

This site is protected by reCAPTCHA. Google may process information (e.g., device/browser characteristics, IP) for abuse detection. The Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Analytics & ads

We use Google Analytics (GA4) with IP anonymisation where supported to understand aggregate usage. We may run Google AdSense. These services may set cookies. Where required, we’ll show a consent banner and only load non-essential cookies after consent. You can manage Google ad personalisation in your Google account settings.

Data sharing & transfers

• We do not sell personal data.
• Trusted processors may handle data on our behalf (hosting, email delivery, analytics, security) under appropriate safeguards.
• Where data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on valid transfer mechanisms (e.g., SCCs/IDTA).

Retention

• Anonymous calculator logs: up to 24 months (aggregate statistics only).
• Contact form logs: typically up to 90 days for delivery/debug/security, then securely deleted.
• Server logs: usually 30–90 days unless required longer for security/legal reasons.
• Email correspondence: as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and maintain records.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

• Access, rectify, delete your personal data (where applicable).
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Data portability (where applicable).
• Withdraw consent at any time (e.g., marketing emails if you opted in).

Children

Our service is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child submitted data, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Complaints

You can contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
